image1Jane and I visited two lovely sisters Abigail and Danielle Edwards who along with their mum Debbie Hendy, held a ball this summer to raise funds in memory of John Edwards – Grandad .The event took place on John’s birthday and was celebrated by friends and family in the local community, you can see from the photo everyone made a special effort to dress up for the occasion and have some fun whilst raising funds for CASS. The girls then had the brilliant idea of donating jars of coffee/tea bags/ biscuits/squash to provide a welcome drink at our Living well with dementia groups instead of just giving us the money. We were delighted to meet the girls and pick up the goods from them  and hear how much they loved their grandad and we were amazed at the amount of tea bags they have given us! FB_20160810_15_39_01_Saved_Picture

They even thought to provide decaf coffee and sweeteners as well as sugar to cater for everyone’s needs and preferences. We would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of all the Carers and cared for that attend our groups for this wonderful gift it is very much appreciated.
