Carers Together Support Groups

Our Carers Together support groups are run regularly, both face to face and over Zoom. And are open to anyone who has a caring role whether that be a family member, friend or neighbour.

Carers Together support groups are designed to help you relax, as we understand caring for someone can be stressful at times. They are informal, friendly and a chance to get together with others in similar situations to offer support. There will sometimes be a guest speaker from external services, whose services can offer opportunities to family Carers.

Carers Together in the Community – Penkridge

Carers can come together face to face at the Carers Together in the Community group in Penkridge. Socialise with others, get information from CASS and to support positive wellbeing.

You can come and see us in person at the Carers Together in the Community group in Penkridge every 3rd Wednesday of the month between 10am – 12pm.
Booking is essential and required to ensure we keep everyone safe. Please call the Carers Advice line prior to the group to ensure your name is on the list.

Carers Together – Online

Sometimes there is not the opportunity to attend one of our groups in person. Our online Carers Together support group is open for all Carers, from across the Southern districts of Staffordshire to join. It gives an opportunity for Carers to meet and see others, from the comfort of your own home. The group is very much Carer led – feel free to bring your own activity to the group or topic of discussion.

Carers Together online is held weekly on a Tuesday from 2pm – 3pm. Invitations are sent out on a Monday.

Please remember you need to be registered with us as a Carer to attend our support groups. Registering is quick and simple – contact us to speak to a team member.

Professionals are more than welcome to join our Carers Together to support family Carers in the local community. To arrange to attend one of the support groups, call our main office on 01785 222365.
